Following previous US strikes on June 26, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reportedly launched drone and missile attacks on US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain on June 27. The IRGC warned of a "devastating response" if US actions continued. Later on June 27, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced further strikes on Iranian targets, citing an attack on a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. On June 28, Bahrain and Kuwait confirmed Iranian strikes on their territories, with Bahrain reporting intercepted projectiles and damage to a residential building. This exchange marks a continued escalation between the two nations.
