A 59-year-old man died in hospital on June 30, succumbing to severe injuries sustained during Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro, bringing the total fatalities to seven. Sixteen individuals remain hospitalized, with seven in serious condition. Ukrainian forces reported approximately 1,350 Russian personnel killed or wounded across front lines on June 29, along with the destruction of 71 artillery systems and other equipment. Separately, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that a Russian offensive on the Chernihiv region from Bryansk Oblast is considered realistic, and Ukraine is preparing for such a scenario. He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked his General Staff with calculating various offensive options, including from Belarus, to seize Kyiv and other territories. The second anniversary of Russia's withdrawal from Snake Island was also marked, with military pilots recalling the liberation operation as "scary, low, fast, and very maneuverable."
