A 59-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital following Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro, bringing the total fatalities to seven, consisting of six men and one woman. Sixteen individuals remain hospitalized, with seven in serious condition.
On June 29, Ukrainian forces documented 184 combat engagements across the front lines. Russian forces reportedly conducted two missile strikes, 50 air strikes, and utilized 136 guided aerial bombs. Ukrainian estimates indicate approximately 1,350 Russian personnel were killed or wounded over the past day, alongside the destruction of 71 artillery systems, one tank, six armored combat vehicles, and one air defense system. Total estimated Russian personnel losses now stand at 1,403,550.
Separately, the second anniversary of Russia's June 30, 2022, withdrawal from Snake Island was marked, with Ukrainian military pilots describing the liberation operation as "scary, low, fast, and very maneuverable."
