A 59-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital following Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro, bringing the total fatalities to seven, with 16 individuals remaining hospitalized, seven in serious condition. Ukrainian forces reported 184 combat engagements across the front lines on June 29, estimating approximately 1,350 Russian personnel killed or wounded, alongside the destruction of 71 artillery systems and other equipment. Separately, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that a Russian offensive on the Chernihiv region from Bryansk Oblast is considered realistic, and Ukraine is preparing for such a scenario. He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked his General Staff with calculating various offensive options, including from Belarus, to seize Kyiv and other territories. The second anniversary of Russia's withdrawal from Snake Island was also marked, with Ukrainian military pilots recalling the liberation operation as "scary, low, fast, and very maneuverable."
