Ukraine reports 203 combat engagements and continued Russian strikes

Ukraine's General Staff reported 203 combat engagements across the front lines on June 30, including 25 in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces conducted 51 air strikes and deployed 163 guided aerial bombs. The death toll from Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro increased to seven after a 59-year-old man died in hospital; 16 people remain hospitalized, seven seriously. In Sumy, 21 individuals were wounded in a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on an infrastructure facility, with two hospitalized and 14 undergoing medical examination. Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that a Russian offensive on the Chernihiv region from Bryansk Oblast is a realistic possibility, for which Ukraine is preparing. He noted Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed his General Staff to evaluate offensive strategies, including from Belarus, to capture Kyiv.
