Ukraine reports 203 combat engagements as Dnipro death toll rises

Ukrainian forces reported 203 combat engagements across the front lines on June 30, with 25 occurring in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces carried out 51 air strikes and deployed 163 guided aerial bombs. The death toll from Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro increased to seven after a 59-year-old man succumbed to his injuries in hospital, with 16 individuals still hospitalized, seven critically. In Sumy, a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on an infrastructure facility wounded 21 people; two were hospitalized and 14 are undergoing medical assessment. Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that a Russian offensive on the Chernihiv region from Bryansk Oblast is a realistic possibility, for which Ukraine is preparing. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked his General Staff with evaluating offensive strategies, including from Belarus, to capture Kyiv.
