Kyiv's death toll from Russia's July 2 missile and drone assault has risen to 25, with emergency services persisting in search and rescue operations across three sites in the Darnytskyi district. City military administration head Timur Tkachenko reported that eight individuals are still unaccounted for at one location where five bodies were recovered. Concurrently, Russian forces shelled a hospital in Kherson on the same day, resulting in the death of a 63-year-old doctor and injuries to a nurse. In response to these attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated his call for the United States to grant licenses for Patriot missile manufacturing, anticipating a favorable decision from Donald Trump.
