Kyiv death toll rises to 23 as Ukraine seeks Patriot missile support

This updated figure comes after initial reports of 22 deaths and 100 injuries, including children. In response to the attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy renewed his appeal for the United States to provide licenses for Patriot missile manufacturing, indicating he anticipates a positive decision from Donald Trump. Concurrently, Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov dispatched letters to approximately 40 partner nations, requesting the urgent transfer of Patriot missiles from their existing stockpiles this month, with an offer of future contracted deliveries as recompense.
