Simultaneously, over 13 explosions and subsequent fires were reported in occupied Mariupol on the night of July 3, with a local resistance group suggesting drones targeted parked trucks. Ukraine's General Staff also documented 224 combat engagements on July 2, highlighting significant Russian assaults in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Huliaipole directions.
