The death toll from Russia's July 2 missile and drone attack on Kyiv has increased to 30, after rescue workers recovered three more bodies from a damaged residential building in the Darnytskyi district. This update follows continued reports of hostilities across Ukraine. On July 3, a Russian drone strike in Sumy region's Romny community killed two women and injured one man when a residential structure was hit. Simultaneously, over 13 explosions and subsequent fires were reported in occupied Mariupol on the night of July 3, with a local resistance group suggesting drones targeted parked trucks. Ukraine's General Staff also documented 224 combat engagements on July 2, highlighting significant Russian assaults in the Pokrovsk, Sloviansk, and Huliaipole directions.
