Updates on Ukraine conflict casualties and French plane crash

New reports detail casualties from Russian attacks in Ukraine's Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, ongoing frontline engagements, and a fatal plane crash in northeastern France.
On June 28, a Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Zmiivska community in the Kharkiv region resulted in one fatality and seven injuries, including two children. Separately, the death toll from a Russian attack in Zaporizhzhia increased to two, with 16 individuals injured, among them two children, one in serious condition. Meanwhile, Ukrainian military officials reported 197 combat engagements across the front lines, with Russian forces most active in the Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole directions. Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged domestic fuel supply issues, attributing them to Ukrainian attacks on oil infrastructure, and confirmed an existing ban on gasoline exports, with a diesel restriction anticipated. In an unrelated incident, all 11 occupants, including five nurses, five instructors, and the pilot, died in a plane crash in Tomblaine, northeastern France, on June 28.
