On June 28, Ukraine experienced multiple Russian attacks, with one fatality and seven injuries, including two children, reported in the Zmiivska community, Kharkiv region. The death toll from a separate attack in Zaporizhzhia rose to two, with 16 injured, including two children, one critically. Ukrainian military officials noted 197 combat engagements across the front, with Russian forces most active near Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged domestic fuel supply problems, attributing them to Ukrainian strikes on oil infrastructure, and confirmed a gasoline export ban, with a diesel restriction expected.
