Ukrainian forces reported 197 combat clashes on June 28, with Russian assaults most intense on the Sloviansk, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole directions, according to the General Staff. Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged domestic fuel supply problems, attributing them to Ukrainian attacks on oil infrastructure, and confirmed an existing gasoline export ban with an anticipated diesel restriction. Separately, a Russian missile strike on Ukraine's Zmiivska community in the Kharkiv region on June 28 resulted in one fatality and seven injuries, including two children. In Zaporizhzhia, the death toll from a guided aerial bomb strike rose to two, with 16 injured, including two children, one of whom is in serious condition. Additionally, all 11 occupants, comprising five nurses, five instructors, and the pilot, died in a plane crash in Tomblaine, northeastern France, on June 28.
