Ukraine updates on Kinburn Spit, Kryvyi Rih casualties, and strikes on Russian targets

Ukraine provides updates on the ongoing conflict, including the status of Kinburn Spit, increased casualties from a Russian strike, confirmed Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, and continued international support.

Ukrainian Naval Forces spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk reiterated that the Kinburn Spit remains an active combat zone, highlighting its strategic significance for Russian forces. Meanwhile, the casualty count from Russia's June 23 missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has increased to five, following the death of a 23-year-old man from his injuries. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian forces conducted strikes on two oil refineries in Ufa, Bashkortostan, and an oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar region on June 25, characterizing these as "consistent precise responses." In international support, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the initial €3.2 billion disbursement of a €90 billion loan to Ukraine during a Gdansk conference, also pledging future funds for drone manufacturing. Additionally, Denmark is providing Ukraine with 15,000 long-range artillery shells, with some already delivered, in response to Kyiv's request for priority in such munitions.
