Ukraine confirms strikes on Russian facilities, EU disburses loan, Denmark sends shells

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on Russian oil and space facilities. The EU disbursed a €3.2 billion loan, and Denmark pledged 15,000 long-range artillery shells. The death toll from a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih rose to five.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed strikes on two oil refineries in Ufa, Bashkortostan, and an oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar region on June 25, describing them as "consistent precise responses." Ukraine's General Staff also reported hitting a Russian space communication center near Gus-Khrustalny on June 22. Meanwhile, the European Union disbursed the initial €3.2 billion installment of a €90 billion loan to Ukraine, with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen also announcing future funding for drone production. Denmark is supplying an additional 15,000 long-range artillery shells, some already delivered, in response to Kyiv's request. Separately, the death toll from a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on June 23 has risen to five.
