Ukraine intercepts 102 drones as Russia conducts widespread attacks

Russian forces launched 117 attack drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and "Parody" types, against Ukraine overnight into June 12, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 102. Fourteen drones impacted seven locations, and debris fell in eight others. Concurrently, the Zaporizhzhia region experienced 949 strikes across 44 settlements, resulting in two fatalities and three injuries in the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts. In Mykolaiv, 14 private homes and two vehicles were damaged, injuring a couple. Railway infrastructure was also targeted in the Sumy region. Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia sustained approximately 1,300 military personnel losses within the same period, alongside various equipment.
