Ukraine endures widespread Russian attacks across multiple regions
Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 102 of 117 Russian drones launched overnight on June 12. Attacks also hit Zaporizhzhia, Sloviansk, Mykolaiv, and Sumy, causing fatalities, injuries, and infrastructure damage.
Overnight on June 12, Russian forces launched 117 drones from various directions, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 102. Fourteen drone strikes were recorded across seven locations, and debris impacted eight others. Concurrently, the Zaporizhzhia region experienced 949 strikes on 44 settlements, leading to two fatalities and three injuries. In the Donetsk region, three FAB-250 aerial bombs struck Sloviansk, damaging 24 multi-story buildings and injuring at least one child. Mykolaiv also reported shelling that damaged 14 private homes and two vehicles, injuring a married couple. Additionally, railway infrastructure in the Sumy region was targeted.
