Ukraine faces widespread Russian attacks, including drone assault and regional shelling

Russian forces launched 117 attack drones overnight on June 12 from various directions, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 102. Fourteen drone strikes were recorded across seven locations, and debris affected eight others. In the Zaporizhzhia region, 949 strikes targeted 44 settlements, causing two deaths and three injuries. Sloviansk in the Donetsk region was hit by three FAB-250 aerial bombs, damaging 24 multi-story buildings and injuring at least one child. Mykolaiv experienced shelling that damaged 14 private homes and two vehicles, injuring a married couple. Railway infrastructure in the Sumy region was also targeted.
