Ukraine conflict sees continued casualties and drone interceptions

Recent military actions across Ukraine have resulted in further casualties and infrastructure damage, with Russian attacks causing fatalities and injuries in several oblasts. Meanwhile, Moscow reported intercepting 46 Ukrainian drones.

Recent military actions in Ukraine have led to additional casualties and infrastructure damage. Russian overnight assaults in the Zaporizhzhia region resulted in three deaths and eighteen injuries. Authorities in Dnipro reported four fatalities from Russian bombardments, while three individuals were wounded in Dnipropetrovsk and ten in Sumy. Kyiv's military administration also confirmed at least two people were injured during a Russian aerial attack. These events caused power outages in the Sumy, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia areas. Meanwhile, Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, stated that Russian air defenses intercepted 46 Ukrainian drones targeting the capital early Tuesday, with no immediate reports of damage or casualties. Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirmed his readiness for discussions with American representatives once Washington prioritizes issues other than Iran, stating, "We are ready to continue negotiations and the discussion of all the details."
