Russian forces launched two guided missiles and 105 attack drones at Ukraine during the night of July 2-3. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 83 aerial targets, though one missile and 21 drones impacted 16 different locations. Separately, the number of fatalities from Russia's July 2 missile and drone assault on Kyiv has risen to 30, after rescue workers retrieved three additional bodies from a damaged residential building in the Darnytskyi district. On the front lines, Ukraine's General Staff reported 273 combat engagements on July 2, with Ukrainian troops repelling 39 attacks in the Pokrovsk area, 32 near Huliaipole, and 30 in the Sloviansk sector.
