Ukraine has urged European Union partners to allocate €6.6 billion from the European Peace Facility for military assistance, citing a "window of opportunity" on the front lines. The United Kingdom also committed an additional £15 billion ($19.8 billion) to modernize its armed forces, incorporating lessons from the conflict in Ukraine. In the technology sector, South Korean firms Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are reportedly planning investments of approximately $1.3 trillion for new chip manufacturing plants and artificial intelligence data centers. Separately, the US has lifted export restrictions on Anthropic's powerful AI models, Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5, following an agreement with the company to enhance security measures.
