On July 1, Ukraine reported multiple Russian attacks. In Kherson, a drone strike on a minibus killed two people, including an 18-year-old, and injured nine others. Separately, another drone attack in Kherson's city center on the same day resulted in one fatality and 20 injuries, causing a fire and damaging nearby structures. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced on July 1 that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new large-scale strike across the country. These incidents follow reports of 203 combat clashes on June 30, with 25 in the Pokrovsk sector, and Russia conducting 51 air strikes. Throughout June, Russia reportedly targeted ten civilian sites, with over half sustaining damage.
