On July 1, Ukraine experienced multiple Russian attacks and received warnings of further strikes. In Kherson, two separate drone incidents resulted in casualties. A morning attack on a minibus killed two individuals, including an 18-year-old, and injured nine others. Later, a drone strike on the city center claimed one life and wounded 20, also causing a fire and structural damage. That evening, explosions were reported in Kyiv as air defense units engaged incoming enemy drones. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing another significant nationwide strike. Concurrently, Ukraine's Ambassador to NATO, Olena Hetmanchuk, confirmed that 90-92% of Patriot missile interceptors are supplied to Ukraine through the PURL procurement scheme.
