Thick smoke was observed billowing from the eighth floor of the Linkeroever district structure. Separately, in northern Greece, over 100 firefighters are working to contain an uncontrolled wildfire near Thessaloniki, where a man's body was discovered in a charred area near Liti. A woman also sustained burn injuries, and residents of a nearby village were evacuated.
