This incident occurred during a significant nationwide aerial assault by Russia overnight into June 28, which involved approximately 150 airborne targets. The attack included two "Zircon" or "Onyx" anti-ship missiles launched from Russia's Kursk region, six "Iskander" ballistic missiles from Bryansk, and 142 strike drones. Ballistic missiles also impacted Kyiv, igniting fires near a residential building and at a car service station in the Darnytskyi district, causing casualties and damaging a non-residential structure.
