Zaporizhzhia experienced a Russian drone attack on June 8, leading to two deaths and 18 injuries, including four children aged five, ten, and thirteen. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov confirmed the assault, which impacted residential areas and the city center. One FPV drone struck a minibus, causing substantial damage and injuring a passenger. An eyewitness described the event, stating the drone "just flew into us." The attack also damaged homes, vehicles, and market stalls. This incident occurred after Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia on June 7 caused power outages and fires.
