Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia results in fatalities and injuries

Russian forces launched a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia city on June 8, causing two fatalities and injuring 18 people, including four children aged five, ten, and thirteen. Regional head Ivan Fedorov confirmed the assault, which impacted residential areas and the city center, damaging buildings, vehicles, and trading kiosks. One FPV drone struck a minibus, severely damaging it and injuring a passenger, with an eyewitness stating the drone "just flew into us." This incident follows earlier Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia on June 7, which led to power outages and fires. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces in the Zaporizhzhia region reported destroying 665 Russian drones between May 31 and June 7.
