Ukrainian officials reported ongoing developments across various fronts. Kyiv experienced evening explosions on June 25, with the Air Force issuing a ballistic missile threat alert and confirming missile activity as air defense systems operated. The casualty count from a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on June 23 increased to five, following the death of a 23-year-old man from severe wounds. In Donetsk, Ukraine's Operational Command "East" acknowledged Russian attempts to penetrate Kostiantynivka. However, its commander refuted claims of the city being encircled, a statement that contrasts with previous accounts of substantial enemy presence. Ukraine's Naval Forces reiterated that the Kinburn Spit remains an active combat zone, underscoring its strategic importance. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also authorized a 40-day influence operation by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), intended to encourage Russia to cease hostilities.
