Ukrainian military authorities reported fluctuating numbers of combat engagements on June 7. The General Staff initially stated 71 clashes, later updating to 196 by evening, and a final count of 240 over the entire day. Intense fighting continued, with Russian forces launching numerous attacks, particularly in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions. Over the 24-hour period, Russia reportedly conducted 86 air strikes, deployed 265 guided aerial bombs, used 9,184 kamikaze drones, and carried out 3,296 shellings. Separately, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced that Ukrainian forces have reclaimed over 600 square kilometers of territory since the start of the year, including a net gain of nearly 100 square kilometers in May, and inflicted over one billion dollars in damages on Russian forces.
