The Ukrainian General Staff reported 184 combat engagements on June 29, noting two missile strikes and 50 aerial bombardments that deployed 136 guided bombs. During this period, Ukrainian forces claimed to have inflicted 1,350 casualties on Russian personnel, along with destroying 71 artillery systems, one tank, six armored combat vehicles, and one air defense system. The General Staff updated total estimated Russian personnel losses to 1,403,550 since the full-scale invasion began. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy affirmed Ukraine's resolve to counter Russian attacks in a manner that weakens Moscow's ability to prolong the conflict, following recent strikes on multiple Ukrainian regions. Additionally, military pilots shared insights into the 2022 operation to retake Snake Island, describing it as "scary, low, fast, and very maneuverable," coinciding with the second anniversary of Russia's withdrawal from the island.
