Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated Ukraine's commitment to respond to Russian attacks to diminish Moscow's capacity to prolong the conflict. On June 29, Ukraine's General Staff reported 184 combat engagements, including two missile strikes and 50 aerial attacks involving 136 guided bombs. Russian forces used a guided aerial bomb in Kharkiv, resulting in one fatality and five injuries. In Zaporizhzhia, a drone strike on a public transport vehicle killed two people and injured six, including a child.
