Ukraine reports extensive Russian drone attacks and intense combat, while urban fighting continues in Kostiantynivka

Ukrainian air defenses reported intercepting or suppressing 110 of 118 Russian uncrewed aerial vehicles launched overnight on June 13 across northern, southern, and eastern regions. Three drones struck targets, and debris fell in six locations. Separately, the General Staff reported 193 combat engagements on June 12, including 61 air strikes and over 6,000 drone attacks. In Kostiantynivka, urban fighting persists as enemy forces have infiltrated the city, with assault units engaged in clearing operations. A battalion commander noted the city is "semi-encircled" due to Russian advances near Chasiv Yar and Berestky. Military experts indicate a "sharply worsened" situation in June, with one expert suggesting Kostiantynivka could be lost by Ukraine in "June-July."
