Ukraine faces new aerial attacks as NATO plans arms boost

Ukrainian authorities reported that Russia launched 196 aerial targets, including seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 189 drones, at Ukraine overnight on June 26, impacting Kyiv and Poltava regions. Separately, Russian forces attacked energy and civilian infrastructure in Odesa region's Vylkivska community, causing a fire and injuries. Ukraine's General Staff updated Russia's total military personnel losses to 1,398,370, with 1,310 occurring in the past day, alongside 12,059 tanks. In Donetsk, Russian forces attempted to infiltrate Kostiantynivka, though the city's commander denied encirclement. Internationally, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte reiterated plans for alliance members to increase arms production, with new contracts expected at the upcoming July 5-7 summit, adding, "We know what you are doing, and we are better at it." Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly attacked a Singapore-flagged commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz on June 25.
