South Korean technology giants Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are reportedly planning significant investments totaling approximately $876 billion. This includes around $520 billion for four new chip manufacturing plants and an additional $356.36 billion for three artificial intelligence data centers. Meanwhile, Ukraine has received €3.8 billion from the European Union, earmarked for drone production and its defense sector. Separately, the United Kingdom announced an additional £15 billion ($19.8 billion) for military modernization, informed by insights from the conflict in Ukraine. European aluminum producers are urging Brussels to address a loophole allowing sanctioned Russian aluminum into the EU via third countries. Furthermore, a survey indicates that sovereign wealth funds and central banks, managing $29 trillion, are increasingly focusing on energy assets and expressing concerns about the US dollar's future.
