Poland introduces airspace restrictions, separate helicopter crash reported

Poland's air navigation agency announced new low and medium-altitude flight restrictions along its borders with Belarus and Ukraine, effective June 10 to September 10, citing national security. Separately, a helicopter crash on June 4 in Lesser Poland Voivodeship killed its pilot
The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) has announced new flight restrictions along the country's borders with Belarus and Ukraine. Effective from June 10 to September 10, the measures will limit low and medium-altitude air traffic, though passenger planes at higher altitudes will not be affected. PANSA stated the restrictions are necessary to ensure national security. Separately, on June 4, a Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter crashed in Poland's Lesser Poland Voivodeship, resulting in the death of its pilot. The helicopter had disappeared from radar overnight near the city of Limanowa, prompting a large-scale search operation.
