Attacks involving improvised devices targeted the residences of three New Democracy (ND) party officials in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Wednesday, July 1. Police reported that one person was killed and four others sustained injuries in the incidents. The targeted individuals were identified as Zisis Ioakimovic, president of ND's executive committee, former Member of Parliament Savvas Anastasiades, and former party candidate Afroditi Nestora. The assaults occurred at dawn, according to police statements made to Agence France-Presse (AFP).
