Über die KI
An automated, neutral European newsroom
Nexus Europa is an automated, multilingual European news service. Every 30 minutes a pipeline monitors more than a hundred European sources, clusters and de-duplicates reports of the same event, and asks a large language model (Gemini Flash) to write a short, neutral summary of the most significant stories. These digests are then translated into four languages — English, French, German and Spanish — and published across every language edition. Stories are not written or edited by a human before publication.
What the system does
- Classifies article importance, scope and category.
- Embeds article text to cluster reports of the same event across languages.
- Writes a neutral, wire-service summary of each leading cluster.
- Translates each summary into the supported languages.
Our editorial commitments
Summaries list the source outlets and do not paraphrase direct quotations. Conflicting reporting is flagged in the summary text. AI-generated content is marked as such in every page's structured data, in keeping with European transparency expectations.
