On July 1, Ukraine continued to experience intense fighting, with the General Staff reporting 210 combat engagements across the front lines, including 23 in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian forces also launched drone attacks, resulting in one fatality and 20 injuries in a midday strike on Kherson's city center. Kyiv also reported explosions as air defense systems intercepted incoming unmanned aerial vehicles. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing another large-scale attack. Concurrently, Ukraine's Ambassador to NATO, Olena Hetmanchuk, stated that 90-92% of Patriot missile interceptors are now supplied to Ukraine via the PURL procurement scheme.
