The death toll from Russia's June 29 attack on Dnipro rose to seven after a 59-year-old man died in hospital, with 16 individuals still hospitalized, seven critically. Separately, the number of injured from a Russian guided aerial bomb strike on an infrastructure facility in Sumy increased to 21; two were hospitalized, and 14 underwent medical assessment. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that a Russian offensive on the Chernihiv region from Bryansk Oblast is a realistic possibility, for which Ukraine is preparing. He noted President Vladimir Putin has tasked his General Staff with evaluating offensive strategies, including from Belarus, to capture Kyiv. Ukrainian forces also reported approximately 1,350 Russian personnel killed or wounded on June 29, alongside 71 artillery systems destroyed.
