
Ukraine reports new details on Russian aerial assault, Odesa strike, and updated personnel losses
Ukrainian officials provide further information on recent Russian aerial attacks, including missile and drone impacts, a strike on Odesa's infrastructure, and updated figures for Russian military losses.
Russian forces conducted a large-scale aerial assault on Ukraine during the night of June 25-26, deploying seven Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 189 uncrewed aerial vehicles. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted 177 of these targets, including three ballistic missiles. However, four ballistic missiles and eleven drones reportedly impacted sites in the Kyiv and Poltava regions. Concurrently, Russian forces struck energy and civilian infrastructure in Odesa region's Vylkivska community, resulting in a fire and injuries. Meanwhile, Ukraine's General Staff reported Russia's total military personnel losses reached 1,398,370, with 1,310 recorded in the preceding 24 hours, alongside 12,059 tanks. Separately, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps allegedly attacked a Singapore-flagged commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz on June 25.
