Ukrainian officials provided updates on various fronts, including Kyiv explosions, a rising casualty count in Kryvyi Rih, and ongoing combat in Donetsk and Kinburn Spit, alongside a new SBU operation.
Ukrainian officials provided updates on various fronts. Kyiv experienced evening explosions on June 25, with air defense systems active following a ballistic missile threat. The casualty count from a Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih on June 23 rose to five after a 23-year-old man died from severe wounds. In Donetsk, Ukraine's Operational Command "East" confirmed Russian attempts to infiltrate Kostiantynivka, though its commander denied the city was encircled. Earlier reporting indicated over a hundred Russian personnel had penetrated the city. Ukraine's Naval Forces reiterated the Kinburn Spit remains an active combat zone due to its strategic importance. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also authorized a 40-day influence operation by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) aimed at encouraging Russia to cease hostilities.
