Ukraine faced extensive Russian attacks on June 12, including 117 drones, 949 strikes in Zaporizhzhia, and aerial bombs in Sloviansk, causing casualties and damage across multiple regions.
Russian forces launched 117 drones from multiple directions against Ukraine during the night of June 12, with Ukrainian air defenses intercepting 102. Fourteen drone strikes were recorded across seven locations, and debris from downed drones impacted eight others. Separately, the Zaporizhzhia region endured 949 strikes on 44 settlements, resulting in two fatalities and three injuries. In Donetsk, three FAB-250 aerial bombs hit Sloviansk, damaging 24 multi-story buildings and injuring at least one child. Mykolaiv also experienced shelling, which damaged 14 private homes and two vehicles, injuring a married couple. Additionally, railway infrastructure in the Sumy region was targeted.
