Drone strikes impact Ukrainian infrastructure and personnel

Ukrainian authorities reported a drone strike on the Central Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, prompting the IAEA to dispatch inspectors to assess damage to the fuel reception building. Separately, Russian forces conducted multiple attacks across Ukraine on June 7. In Zaporizhzhia, an infrastructure object was hit, injuring a 59-year-old man, with further strikes reported near a public transport stop in Balabyne. Dnipropetrovsk region saw two attacks on a mine, resulting in injuries to a mechanic and damage to the facility's life support systems. Near Dobropillia in Donetsk, Ukrainian defense forces noted a significant increase in Russian fiber-optic drone attacks targeting logistics.
