Zelenskyy reportedly met Abramovich to convey message to Putin

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedly met with Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich in Kyiv last month to convey a message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, proposing a meeting, according to a Financial Times report cited by Ukrainska Pravda. This new information emerges amidst ongoing developments. External power to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant was restored on June 6 after a 15-hour outage, the 18th such incident, while emergency diesel generators maintained cooling. Separately, Russian forces attacked two civilian search-and-rescue vessels on a humanitarian mission in Ukraine's maritime corridor, causing casualties, with Ukrainian naval forces evacuating the injured. Ukrainian military units also reportedly conducted an attack on the Kronstadt naval base near St. Petersburg, and Russian forces struck critical infrastructure in Kherson, leading to power disruptions.
