US confirms retaliatory strikes on Iran, Trump threatens more, IAEA urges uranium disclosure

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the completion of retaliatory airstrikes against nearly 20 Iranian military targets. These actions followed the reported downing or damage of a US Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz and broader attacks on American forces and commercial shipping. US fighter jets targeted Iranian air defense systems and ground control stations. President Donald Trump described the operation as a "very strong response" and threatened further "very strong" strikes if a peace agreement is not reached. He also claimed the US is "exporting millions of barrels of oil" from Iran. Concurrently, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors passed a resolution urging Iran to disclose its enriched uranium stockpiles and permit inspector access, following Iran's suspension of inspections.
