Ukraine's military ombudswoman, Olga Reshetylova, has reported that approximately 7% of all mobilized citizens possess a legal right to deferment that was not recognized during their conscription. Her office has received nearly 8,000 complaints concerning violations of servicemen's rights within its first four months of operation, starting from January 27. Separately, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has established a Coordination Council. This new body is tasked with safeguarding the rights of war veterans, their family members, the families of fallen defenders, as well as prisoners of war and individuals missing in action.
