Ukrainian ombudsman clarifies meeting focus amid new allegations and ICC suspension

Human rights expert Boris Zakharov reiterated that the release of prisoners and civilian detainees should precede negotiations, highlighting a recent exchange where only one civilian was among 186 repatriated Ukrainians. Meanwhile, International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan has been suspended pending a harassment investigation, a decision his legal team called "unlawful."
