Ukrainian drones reportedly struck St Petersburg before an economic forum, while a separate drone incident in Russian-occupied Donetsk killed eight and injured ten on a passenger bus.
Ukrainian drones reportedly struck the outskirts of St Petersburg, Russia, hours before the opening of a major economic forum where President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to speak. Observers noted black plumes of smoke over the city. Separately, Russian authorities reported that a drone hit a passenger bus in the Russian-occupied Donetsk region of Ukraine, killing eight people and injuring ten others. The incident occurred early Wednesday as the bus traveled between a city near Moscow and Simferopol in annexed Crimea.
