Ukrainian law enforcement has accused a Russian serviceman of committing a war crime in the occupied Berdiansk district of Zaporizhzhia region. The individual is suspected of torturing a local resident in front of his children and unlawfully detaining him for over 40 days without adequate provisions. Separately, Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi Court acquitted National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) detective Viktor Gusarov of treason charges. The prosecutor withdrew the accusations, leading to Gusarov's release after five months in pre-trial detention. In other news, a man in Poltava region was convicted for using a fabricated medical certificate concerning a child's disability to evade military mobilization and secure state benefits. Additionally, a 41-year-old from Kyiv region is under suspicion for allegedly offering to arrange a fictitious janitor job for $4,000 to help a conscript avoid military service.
