Ukraine's women's epee team to defend European title with new lineup

Ukraine's women's epee team is preparing to defend its European title at the upcoming European Fencing Championship, scheduled to take place in France from June 16-19. The national squad's composition was finalized following the Ukrainian Fencing Championship, which concluded on June 1 in Kyiv. The team will feature an updated lineup compared to its previous championship-winning formation. A notable change sees current world champion Vlada Kharkova not included in the four-person team selected for the continental competition. Despite the revised roster, the Ukrainian team will aim to retain its status as European champions.
