Ukraine to send drone experts to NATO states; seeks Patriot production licenses

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on June 3 that Ukraine would dispatch drone counteraction experts to several NATO member states. This initiative aims to assist Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Romania in safeguarding their airspace, following reports of Ukrainian drones being identified in their territories. Zelenskyy indicated that Ukrainian specialists would share their operational experience to help mitigate future drone-related challenges. This announcement was made during a joint press conference with the NATO Secretary General in Kyiv. Separately, President Zelenskyy also disclosed that Ukraine is engaged in discussions with the United States administration regarding licenses for the domestic production of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.
